The Story Behind the Suits
What started as a cruise joke turned into an unforgettable moment — and a reminder that bold decisions (in life and in business) are usually the ones worth making.

Brian (blue / “Dumb”)
Husband of Crystal, Founder of KingCorp Partners.
Ryan (orange / “Dumber”)
Husband of Crissy, Founder of Five24 Solutions.
Both 6’+ feet tall.
Both surprisingly committed to character.
Both completely unaware this photo would end up in the Rodeo program.
(Yes, These are Real Photos.)
If you found this page after seeing two unusually tall men in blue and orange tuxedos in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo program — welcome.
First, no.
This is not AI.
Brian is in blue. (Harry. The responsible one.)
Ryan is in orange. (Lloyd. The instigator.)
At 6’5” and 6’3”, subtle was never an option.
There was no birthday.
No anniversary.
No milestone.
Just two grown men who decided formal night on a cruise ship was the perfect time to become Dumb and Dumber.
Ryan suggested it.
Brian said yes.
Ryan upgraded the hats.
And then they absolutely committed.
There is also video evidence of Ryan knocking Brian’s top hat off with a cane. It may surface. It may not. We’re still negotiating rights.
Crystal and I quickly became what felt like celebrity arm candy.
This cruise wasn’t random.
Ryan and Crystal technically “knew” each other in high school.
They both worked mall security for Crystal’s dad’s second job.
Years later, Crystal listed an old pool table on Facebook Marketplace.
Ryan showed up.
“Crystal?”
“Ryan?”
Brian: “Is there something I need to know, Crystal?”
Friendship resumed.
Slip-and-slide parties were attended.
Accusations of “why doesn’t she like me?” were cleared up.
Long-term best friend status was prophetically declared around 2013.
The cruise suits were simply the natural evolution.
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo isn’t just a stadium event. It’s a 21-day Houston tradition that supports scholarships, education, and FFA programs across Texas.
Crystal and I both serve on the Souvenir Program Committee. We help businesses place ads in the program each year.
So yes, we sold our own ad.
Because if you’re going to do it… commit.
If you’re reading this from the program, thank you for supporting Houston students.
And if you’d like your business featured next year, we would be happy to help.
Honestly?
Everything.
Standing out takes courage.
Committing to the bit takes confidence.
Owning the room takes presence.
That’s how we approach business.

We do not just advise.
We execute.
When strong operators collaborate, interesting things happen.
This friendship started with mall security and a questionable pool table.
It evolved into cruise ships and tuxedos.
Now it may evolve into something even bigger.
Stay tuned.
Two tall men in blue and orange tuxedos can turn heads on a cruise ship.
